UPDATED Scum Services COVID-19 Restrictions

Colorado currently has restrictions on in-person church assembly in order to prevent the spread and lessen the impact of COVID-19 on our community. Scum is taking these concerns seriously and will be providing the following services and precautions:
  • Requiring Masks Be worn
  • Social distanced Seating
  • Disinfecting chairs after every use
  • Hand sanitizer stations
  • Positive pressure airflow
  • Disposable masks available when needed
  • Communion will be safely prepared and distributed
  • No meals will be served after service for the time being

We want to love people the best way we can and right now that means that we need to do our part to keep our friends, family, and community safe. Remember that we are acting out of love for people and not fear of a virus. God is ultimately in control and He knows you, sees you, and takes care of you. He is Sovereign. He is the Healer. He is the Comforter. He is the Provider. We are turning to Him in this strange time and trust that He will bring us through.

If we cant attend in-person how will I be able to go to service?

We will be providing Sermon live streams and Announcement videos on facebook as a sort of "virtual church service". Other events such as prayer meetings and small groups will be attempting to do video conferencing. That information can be found on our Facebook page .

How can I help my community and my city?

Even though we aren't allowed to hold services there are ways that scum is involved in relieving some of the strain the restrictions have caused in our city. We are taking donations for St. Francis center, a homeless shelter and outreach center. As well as collecting donations for Scum's Food Pantry to pass out to those in need of household items and food.

Items can be dropped off at Scum of the Earth Church 935 W. 11th ave 80204 (map) . Jesse, the manager of Scum's Roller Derby Shop, Death and Glory is collecting those items During business hours and will deliver them where they need to go.

How can I help the church?

Scum of the Earth has always run on donations from both inside and outside of our community. But in order to serve that community we need giving to increase. Please give financially to support Scum's mission in the kingdom and tell others to do so also (tell your mom, and your friends, your uncle, and your dog groomer). Support Scum by attending the virtual events that we have going on. And pray for our community, our leaders, and our finances.
